Per-instance provenance for safety-critical and aftermarket automotive parts.
Our automotive pilot is focused on aluminum and stainless-steel Laser Powder Bed Fusion components — performance brackets, intake manifolds, brake-system parts, and replacement components for motorsport and OEM aftermarket programmes where additive manufacturing has the strongest commercial traction. Looking for Tier-1 suppliers, motorsport teams, and aftermarket programmes who want machine-attested provenance against the kind of failure mode the Takata-aftermath regime exists to prevent.
Producing in Ti-6Al-4V for performance applications, or 300M for safety-critical structural? We can configure for those too.
Per-instance verification at the workshop, not just paperwork at the warehouse.
Counterfeit safety-critical parts — airbags, brake components, steering — have a long documented history in the automotive aftermarket. The Takata recall framework and the EU General Safety Regulation rest on the same paperwork-based authenticity that has failed at the broker tier in aerospace. EHLS replaces it with a cryptographically signed certificate per instance, verifiable at the workshop bay before the part goes on the vehicle.
Identifier strategy aligns with VIN-linked component records and IATF 16949-driven traceability, and slots cleanly into recall-and-replacement workflows.
Aligned to the regulatory framework automotive already files under.
